FIRST DAY : CUSCO - CHACHABAMBA - WIÑAY WAYNA - AGUAS CALIENTES

At 6:00 a.m., transfer to the Km. 104 of the railroad to Machupicchu (4 hours).In this location, we’ll start our trek. First of all we have to check in at the entrance and at once we’ll visit the CHACHABAMBA ruins (2,200 meters msl.).After a three hour trek we’ll have a nice rest with a stunning view at WIÑAY WAYNA (FOREVER YOUNG) ruins (2,650 meters msl.) After a guided visit in the ruins, we’ll have to go down to the town of Aguas Calientes to stay overnight in a guesthouse, because camping is forbidden in the area. Overnight. Inca Trail. SECOND DAY : AGUAS CALIENTES – MACHUPICCHU – CUSCO

The journey will start at 5:00 a.m., after breakfast, we’ll trek to the NATIONAL SANCTUARY OF MACHUPICCHU (two hours). We’ll have a bilingual tour guide in our visit to the citadel of the Incas. After the visit, we’ll have the chance to climb HUAYNAPICCHU mountain, right in front of the citadel and to see the Temple of the Moon. Around 3:00 p.m. we’ll take the bus down to the town of Aguas Calientes, to aboard the train back to Cusco. Arrival time 8:30 p.m. Inka Trail Cusco, Machu Picchu Cusco
